The Sunrise Tomorrow Specific Plan is required to be analyzed under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). CEQA is a statute that requires agencies to identify the significant environmental impacts of their actions and to avoid or mitigate those impacts, if feasible.

A 45-day public review period for the Draft EIR commenced on July 20, 2021 and will ended on September 2, 2021 for interested individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document.

The Notice of Preparation is available for review here. The purpose of the NOP is to solicit input from agencies, organizations and the public on the scope and content of the environmental information to be included in the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR). Comments on the Notice of Preparation were due at 5PM on September 8, 2020.
