Proceeds Benefit Citrus Heights COVID-19 Relief Grant for Small Businesses

The Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce is hosting a drive-in concert with the band Journey Revisited on May 22 from 4 to 7 p.m., in the back parking lot of the Sunrise Mall (6401 Sunrise Blvd.). Space is limited, and ticket prices start at $50 per car with up to 6 people per vehicle. VIP tickets are available at $125 per car with up to 4 people, and include reserved parking, a private reception with members of the band, and appetizers. Proceeds from the concert support the Chamber’s COVID-19 Relief Grant, which reimburses local businesses for costs incurred during the pandemic in order to operate safely.

“Our Board of Directors truly believes in serving our community and bringing value to everyone in the local business community,” said Diane Ebbitt, Executive Director of the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce. “The past year has been unlike any other and many of our Citrus Heights businesses are struggling to keep their doors open -- especially restaurants, retail stores, and those who were considered non-essential. We’re proud to support these businesses with our COVID-19 Relief Grant, while bringing the community together for some much needed fun.”

The band Journey Revisited has headlined drive-in concerts throughout the pandemic in other cities, and brings together a team of lively musicians to provide entertainment with covers to hits like Don’t Stop Believin’, Any Way You Want It, and more. The band performs totally live, without pre-recorded back tracks or digital vocal enhancements, delivering “the organic live sound of the album-oriented rock era, just the way you remember it.”

Sponsorships for the event are still open, with several packages available to organizations who want to support the community and local relief fund for small businesses. Those interested in learning more should contact the Chamber at 916-722-4545 or
