Accessibility & Drainage Improvements
The Accessibility & Drainage Projects generally include:
• Reconstructing non-compliant ADA ramps;
• Reconstructing/relocating various storm drainage inlets/pipes;
• Minor concrete repairs (curbs, gutters and sidewalks);
• Pavement restoration adjacent to all new concrete.
Typical working hours are between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, however, some construction phases may require work during evenings or weekends. The contractor will distribute and post notices alerting you to the dates of specific work on the residential streets.
Safety for the general public and the construction crew is of primary concern to us. Residents are encouraged to observe construction signs and reduced speed limits within the construction zones. The construction teams will strive to minimize impacts to residents and businesses.
If you have any questions, concerns or need special access accommodation during construction, please contact the General Services Department at (916) 727-4770, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
