Draft Master Fee Schedule Available for Review

Citrus Heights City Logo

In an effort to continue our commitment to fiscal responsibility, the City Council will be considering an updated user fee schedule at the next Council meeting. This update will only affect businesses or individuals who need discretionary services. Examples of discretionary services include building permits, planning permits, and encroachment permits. While the City has periodically adjusted various fees in the past, the last comprehensive review and increase of all City user fees was completed in 2005. Because of this, the City has completed a current Cost of Services (User Fee) Study to analyze what it costs the city to provide a variety of services. This study analyzed the fees-for-service activities and determined the city was not recovering adequate costs. A copy of the complete Cost of Services Study is available by contacting City Clerk's Office at cityclerk@citrusheights.net or (916) 725-2448.
