On February 28, 2019, the City Council held the first of two public hearings to inform the public about the district-based elections process and to receive community input on criteria for drawing the boundaries of voting districts prior to drafting district map boundary alternatives.
As part of this process, the City has made a "public participation kit" available to members of the public to submit draft maps. The first option is to draw your proposed map on a printable PDF city map divided into Population Units. The second option includes an Excel file to use along with a PDF city map that will provide the resulting demographics for each district. Lastly, if you want to see exactly where the various Population Unit boundaries are located you can use an interactive map to zoom in and out on the Population Unit boundaries.
