Citrus Heights Winter Shelter Program


The Citrus Heights HART Winter Shelter Program is up an running. A rotating emergency shelter program is offered till February 24, 2018 to Citrus Heights residents by the local faith-based community during the cold winter nights. The program offers a hot dinner and breakfast to those staying at the shelter. The Citrus Heights Navigator will be available Thursday nights to give referrals and resources and a mobile clinic will be available on site every Tuesday. 

Intake Location: Messiah Lutheran Church, 7801 Rosswood Drive, Citrus Heights, CA 95621

Monday through Sunday 5 pm - 6 pm (guests may not arrive prior to 5 pm). The bus leaves at 6 pm for the host site. The following morning clients will depart the host site by bus at 6 am to return to the intake site.  

Please make copies of the HART Card and distribute to those in need of shelter in Citrus Heights or forward to someone who is in contact with our homeless population (businesses, faith groups, neighbors, etc.).
