CALL SPECIAL MEETING TO ORDER

1.    Roll Call:    Council Members:    Bruins, Daniels, Turner, Miller, Slowey
 

PUBLIC COMMENT

Under Government Code Section 54954.3, members of the audience may address the Council on any item of interest to the public and within the Council's purview, or on any Agenda Item before or during the Council's consideration of the Item.  If you wish to address the Council during the meeting, please fill out a Speaker Identification Sheet and give it to the City Clerk.  When you are called upon to speak, step forward to the podium and state your name for the record.  Normally, speakers are limited to five minutes each with 30 minutes being allowed for all comments.  Any public comments beyond the initial 30 minutes may be heard at the conclusion of the agenda.  The Mayor has the discretion to lengthen or shorten the allotted times.

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Ordinance No. 2017-001 An Ordinance of the City of Citrus Heights Amending Sections 2-264 and 2-271 of the Citrus Heights Municipal Code Regarding the Terms of Members of the History and Arts Commission and Planning Commission
 

8. SUBJECT: Recognition of the Citrus Heights Non-Sworn Police Employees Association (NSPEA)

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 2017- ___; A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Citrus Heights, California, Recognizing the Citrus Heights Non-Sworn Police Employees Association (NSPEA) to Negotiate Terms and Conditions of Employment for the Non-Sworn Police Employees Unit

DESCRIPTION: Staff will provide information on Wireless Telecommunications Facilities deployments and provide an overview of potential ordinance amendments and other actions needed for the regulation of these systems within the City’s rights-of-way.
 

10. SUBJECT: Citrus Heights Pet Licensing Launch

DESCRIPTION: Staff will provide an update on the City’s pet licensing program.
