October 19, 2015 Update
The City is in the very early stages of developing Phase II of the Auburn Boulevard Complete Streets Revitalization Project (Grand Oaks Blvd to Whyte Avenue). Environmental review of the project is one of the first steps to move the project forward. While an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared for the project in 2005, the EIR did not contain sufficient detail to complete the environmental review for Phase II.

Since the City received initial funding in 2014, the City has conducted the additional environmental review necessary to move forward with Phase II. The City’s Planning Commission will consider adoption of this environmental document available here. The Public Review Period for the document is from October 8, 2015 thru November 8, 2015. Please provide any comments to or 916-727-4740 by 5:00 p.m. on November 8th.

The Planning Commission hearing will be on November 18th at 7:00PM at the Citrus Heights Community Center, located at 6300 Fountain Square Drive.
